Joseph Berger, a former New York Times reporter and author of Displaced Persons: Growing up American after the Holocaust, will share stories and photos from his fascinating journey to his parents' hometowns in Poland and offers tips for successful family searches abroad. Additionally, Mr. Berger, Jonathan Ornstein, Executive Director of the Krakow JCC, and Helise Lieberman, Director of the Taube Center for the Renewal of Jewish Life in Poland, will reflect on the current political climate in Poland and how it might impact a similar journey today.
